La subtilité du jeu : durant votre tour, vous ne pouvez pas utiliser les actions que vous recevez ! Vous êtes obligé de choisir un ou deux partenaires à qui vous donnez vos actions. Ils choisissent alors ce qu'ils gardent pour eux et ce qu'ils veulent bien vous rendre !

Dans Wingspan, les joueurs incarnent des passionnés d'oiseaux de tous les bords : des chercheurs, des observateurs, des ornithologues ou encore des collectionneurs. L'objectif du jeu est de chercher à découvrir et attirer les plus beaux spécimens dans votre volière. Chaque oiseau posé déclenche une combinaison d’actions dans un de vos habitats.
Chacun de ces habitats se concentre sur un aspect clé de la croissance de votre volière :
Gagnez des jetons Nourriture grâce à des dés personnalisés, dans une tour à dés/mangeoire.
Pondez des œufs en utilisant des œufs marbrés miniatures de différentes couleurs.
Agrandissez votre collection d'oiseaux, en piochant parmi des centaines de cartes Oiseau uniques.
Dice Hospital is a worker placement game, in which as many patients as possible will have to be treated in order to reassure the local authorities. Players use their hospital staff to treat patients on their hospital player board. However, players can also call on specialist staff to respond to certain emergency situations that arise and score more points with the authorities!
The game uses worker placement mechanisms for staff, dice to represent patients, a low die score represents a patient in poor health. In each round, players will score points for each patient they discharge.
At the end of the game, the player with the most points among the patients discharged - minus all deaths - is declared the winner.
