Chaque année, au printemps, des millions de papillons, les monarques, quittent le Mexique pour migrer vers l'Amérique du Nord. À l'automne, des millions de nouveaux monarques reviennent au Mexique. Mais aucun d'entre eux ne fait l'aller-retour.

En général, vos papillons vont aller vers le nord au printemps, se déployer en été, et revenir vers le sud en automne. À chaque fin de saison, un décompte des points a lieu. Pour gagner, il faut réussir à faire progresser son groupe de papillons au fil des saisons et ainsi remporter le plus de points de victoire.
